Things negative of the web in the quarantine

-THESE ARE SOME OF THE  NEGATIVE  THINGS ABOUT THE INTERNET IN QUARANTINE:

1.

Social media can impact mental health during quarantine:

Western Mass News found answers on whether these digital platforms are helping or hurting people’s mental health.
“I think our dependence on social media for better or for worse has increased tenfold since COVID-19,” said Kimberley Lee, vice president of resource developing and branding at the Mental Health Association in Springfield.Lee said that the impact of digital platforms on our health depends mentally on the type of medium that we choose to consume.
"Filtering through what's on social media could be directed toward the positive versus the negative and the published alarmists who are not emotionally healthy," they noted.

2.
The Dark Side of Online Connection in Quarantine

Judging from what people post online, popular quarantine trends include exercising, baking bread, redecorating, and cleaning closets or rooms. But not everyone has the time or energy to enjoy these activities.
For people who strictly adhere to it, quarantine is no fun. It is exhausting, insulating, and conducive to poor mental health. Those who post glorified quarantine content risk ignoring those who lack the resources to participate in the same lifestyle. Even if the intentions aren't bad, posting online
about a glamorous quarantine could do more harm than good, even if it encourages isolated connection.

3.
We have already reached alarming levels of bad quarantine content:
The entire world is all dealing with the same problem, scrolling and swiping at waves of headlines and rumors and oh-so-mercifully unpaywalled coronavirus coverage. We're all trapped here. So we have to cope. But a lot of annoying things are happening, most of which involve the dreaded, yet expected, process of profiteering off the crisis.
